- Joint Economic Committee
- The Joint Economic Committee makes formal recommendations to both the full House and Senate, based upon analysis of the overall economy in comparison with the President's annual congressional economic report and activity undertaken by the Federal Reserve Board.
- Joint Committee on the Library
- Oversees the budget, administration, and operations of the Library of Congress, as well as the grounds of the National Botanic Garden and displays of art within the U.S. Capitol.

- Supervises the administration of the Government Printing Office, and oversees the policies for publishing and distributing the Congressional Record.

- The Joint Committee on Taxation conducts tax research for the two congressional committees charged with tax-related matters, the House Ways and Means Committee and Senate Finance Committee. It examines the tax system and analyzes pending legislation for effects and consequences on the tax code, and has an influential role in tax-related matters facing conference committees.
