What Makes a Showcase Group?

Citizen involvement is the most crucial aspect of a democracy, and the nonprofit sector can be of great service in helping citizens get involved in the policymaking process, through advocacy, voting, or simple public awareness. Showcase groups all provide examples of innovative or exemplary approaches to nonprofit involvement in policymaking.

Some are chosen for their particular effectiveness in one area. Others are chosen for a unique approach to advocacy. Still others are chosen for an innovative use of technology that improves their advocacy outreach. Some are chosen for all the above and more.

If you think your group is a good candidate for our Showcase, or if you would like to nominate another group, drop us a line at npaction@npaction.org.
