*What's New*

After local Quaker and Veterans for Peace groups attended an organization fair at a Tennessee high school, the principal has restricted future visits, citing complaints that the groups' materials are "anti-American" and "anti-Military." Is this a tempest in a teapot, or an indication of the first wave of attacks on the first amendment and advocacy rights of opposition groups?

While those of us working in the nonprofit sector don't ever expect to get rich off of it (despite certain cranky pundits complaining about six-figure salaries paid to directors of organizations that are larger than many corporations), the Nonprofit Times 2005 Salary Survey will let you know where you stand within the community.

*Current Poll*

This month we ask if your organization's work is relatively steady, cyclical, or completely unpredictable? Stop by and vote in the poll, continually displayed on the right hand side of the site.

Here's your chance to ask a question you've wanted to ask other nonprofits, but couldn't figure out how. Send your idea for a poll to npaction@npaction.org.
