New Resources: The Nonprofit Voter Engagement Network

A new resource for nonpartisan nonprofits is available through the Nonprofit Voter Engagement Network, a "nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding the role of 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in voting and elections." They provide resources to help nonpartisan groups to "integrate voter registration, voter education, and voter mobilization work into their on-going activities." For inspiration, see their statement The Power of Nonprofits.

The network has just published a guide Nonprofits, Voting & Elections, with tips and details on ten permissible voter education and mobilization activities. Their site also has toolkits and materials and a training outline.
