APSA's 2005 Annual Meeting: Mobilizing Democracy

The American Political Science Association annual meeting is scheduled for September 1-4, 2005 in Washington, DC.
The meeting includes:
  • 47 Thematic Divisions: Divisions covering a range of topics that shed light on key questions in political science and address the conference theme of "Mobilizing Democracy"
  • 6000 Attendees: Political scientists from around the world meeting in an environment promoting teaching, research, and practice in all fields of political science
  • 730 Panel and Roundtable Presentations:Panel and roundtable presentations addressing every major field of political science, area studies, and international relations
  • High Profile Events: Presidential Address, plenary sessions, and awards
  • 100+ Evening Receptions: Associations, journals, caucuses, universities, organized sections, and related groups
  • World's Largest Exhibit of Political Science Publishers: Exhibition with over 150 of the most prominent political science publishers displaying their latest titles, software, and publications.
