Tuesday, August 23, 2005 More Celebrities are Taking up a Worthy Social Cause Angelina Jolie is a leader among many celebrities including Brad Pitt, Bono and others who are using their star power to increase attention in the fight against poverty and Aids in Third World countries. Jolie's high visibility means she has easy access to powerful people, people who can effect change. She has met many world leaders and policy-makers to discuss refugee issues, and frequently has fund-raising benefits thrown in her honor.
